BOOK REVIEW: Wolfie, An Unlikely Hero
For my latest book review for Just Write for Kids Australia, I checked out a humorous picture book by author Deborah Abela and illustrator Connah Brecon. Published by Random House, Wolfie: An Unlikely Hero turns the tables on readers' preconceptions about fairytale characters and stories.
The book is not only a hoot, both in its text and its pictures, but also teaches young readers about how stories can be constructed, and gently reminds children not to judge others by their reputations or how they look.
