BOOK REVIEW: I Am Famous

BOOK REVIEW: I Am Famous

If ever there was a timely picture book that is equally hilarious and apt at shining a spotlight on modern culture, this is it. I Am Famous, written by sisters Tara Luebbe and Becky Cattie, and illustrated by Joanne Lew-Vriethoff, is fresh, modern, super funny, and perfect for read-alouds.

In the story, the main character is a 'famous' little girl who notices how her 'paparazzi' (her parents) document her every move. There is a fun juxtaposition between what the girl says and what we can see in the bright, sassy illustrations, which will have kids and adults alike giggling on each spread; plus the book also has a great message.
