I've long been a fan of author/illustrator Gus Gordon's work, but having the chance to review a new picture book from Penguin Random House, The Catawampus Cat, I've now found yet another talented creative to follow - author Jason Carter Eaton.

The Catawampus Cat, written by Eaton and illustrated by Gordon, is a delightful book that conveys subtle messages at the same time as it entertains children. Kids will be reminded about the importance of being oneself, seeing the beauty in life, and more, as they giggle at the antics of the townspeople living in the village that this 'askew' cat walks into one day.
